Job Description:
Vizlesan’s is seeking a skilled Data Modeler with expertise in XML & JSON to join our dynamic team and ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and utility of our data structures.
Responsibilities:
- Design and Develop Data Models: Create, maintain, and optimize XML and JSON data models to ensure they meet business needs and maintain the integrity and consistency of the dataset.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business analysts, data architects, developers, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide optimal modeling solutions.
- Data Mapping: Assist in defining and mapping data transformations from source systems to target structures in XML and JSON.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all data models, including entity-relationship diagrams, data dictionaries, and other related artifacts.
- Validation and Testing: Perform validation checks on the models to ensure data integrity, quality, and adherence to standards.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor the performance of data models and make necessary optimizations to enhance their efficiency.
- Stay Updated: Continuously update knowledge on emerging tools, technologies, and best practices in the realm of data modeling, especially concerning XML and JSON structures.
- Training and Mentoring: Provide guidance and training to junior team members and stakeholders on best practices related to XML and JSON data modeling.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- 5 years of experience in data modeling, with a specific focus on XML and JSON structures.
- Proficiency in data modeling tools such as ERwin, IBM Data Architect, or similar.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, database design, and normalization principles.
- Ability to understand and translate business needs into data models.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical thinking.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
